Happy #indigenouspeoplesday2020! (Clearly, baby @bad.ndn is all sorts of moods about this celebration—LOL! It’s not easy being #livinghistory !)This is now an official celebration here in #oregon, as it is in 13 other states and more than 130 cities! Clearly, there is a growing recognition of the need to honour the #nativepeoplesoftheamericas. For suggestions on how to celebrate, check out these online resources from @smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian, or @_illuminatives. #indigenous #indigeneity #firstnationspeople #firstnations #indigenouspeople #cree #plainscree #bornbrown #browngirls #mood
